Today, the Hon’ble Minister of Industry, Commerce and Employment (MoICE) visited Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag and led a consultation meeting with representatives from the Dzongkhag Administration, Samdrup Jongkhar Thromde, regional offices, and the local business community.
The meeting focused on the state of the business regulatory environment in the Dzongkhag and the introduction and roll-out of the Tourism Minimum Facilities Initiative (TMFI) under the TASHEL Framework for Destination Management. Participants discussed challenges faced by businesses, explored ways to improve the regulatory environment, and learned about the TMFI initiative to strengthen tourism services and promote sustainable destination management in the Dzongkhag
