Background
The Gewog was recently bifurcated from Gomdhar as per the 85th National Assembly Resolution, standing as an individual Gewog.
The Gewog is bordered by Gomdar Gewog in the north, by Martshalla Gewog in the East and by Orong Gewog in the south.
Gewog consists of mainly dry-land. Maize is widely cultivated as staple food crop in the Gewog in Kamzhing. Oranges is the main cash crop of the Gewog and the Gewog has potential to produce oranges and generate income.
