A three-day hands-on training program on mushroom production, held from April 14 to 16, 2024, successfully concluded today at Serthi Gewog. The training, which focused on oyster and shiitake mushroom cultivation, was conducted in collaboration with the Agriculture Research and Development Centre (ARDC) Wengkhar.
The program aimed to equip local farmers with essential skills in mushroom production, a venture with significant potential to improve livelihoods and bring about meaningful economic transformation in rural communities.
The Dzongkhag Administration extends heartfelt gratitude to ARDC Wengkhar for their support and for accepting to train our farmers. Their expertise and commitment have played a crucial role in empowering our farming community with the much-needed knowledge and techniques for sustainable income generation.
