In preparation for observing International Day of Zero Waste (Zero Waste Day) on March 30, 2024, an Awareness and Enforcement of Zero Waste Bhutan App program was conducted with the business communities of Samdrupcholing town on March 21, 2024, in coordination with the Dzongkhag Environment Committee, Drungkhag, and Gewog Administrations.
Door-to-door inspections, awareness campaigns, and enforcement measures were also carried out.
