On the joyous occasion of Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen’s 35th Birth Anniversary, the Dzongkhag Administration, Thromde Administration, and Regional Offices in Samdrup Jongkhar offered 1,000 butter lamps and conducted the recitation of Zhabten and prayers at Samjong Dratshang yesterday.
The offering was a humble gesture of gratitude and prayer for Her Majesty’s continued good health, happiness, and long life. The event also served as a moment of unity and reverence, reflecting the deep respect and love the people of Samdrup Jongkhar hold for Her Majesty.
In celebration of the 35th Birth Anniversary of Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen and in deep admiration of Her Majesty’s noble vision for a Zero Waste Bhutan, the Dzongkhag, together with all gewogs, joined the nation in observing the Zero Waste Hour on 4th June 2025, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
With heartfelt dedication, communities across Samdrup Jongkhar came together in unity and service to clean, to care, and to honor.
